Admission of students of CBSE affiliated schools in Class XI in Maharashtra State

 

For students passing out of CBSE affiliated schools and seeking admission in Maharashtra State Institutions in Class XI, the following has been decided by CBSE in consultation with Director, Dept. of Secondary & Higher Secondary Education Govt. of Maharashtra.

 

Ø     The CBSE will give marks of Class X Board Examination 2011 to all its affiliated schools in Maharashtra to enable them to put the same on the students’ application forms for admission to colleges in Maharashtra in Class XI.

 

Ø     The CBSE will also give soft copies of class X Results (School Wise) of its affiliated schools in Maharashtra to Director, Department of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education, Govt. of Maharashtra (and any other officer deputed by them) so that any verification required by admission authorities may be done, as the CBSE in this year will not issue any mark sheet.

 

For the students of CBSE affiliated schools outside Maharashtra State, the following four schools have been identified as Guidance Centres to enable such students to fill up their forms:-

The students applying from outside Maharashtra State will be helped by these guidance Centres in filling up the forms.

 

In case of any offline filling up the application forms, the certification of marks by the respective Principal based on data provided by the CBSE will be accepted by the Department of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education, Govt. of Maharashtra. The above has been agreed by the Department of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education, government of Maharashtra, and informed to all its offices in the State of Maharashtra.
