Dear Parents,

 

Following points are placed for your kind reference, record and compliance to avoid inconvenience and chaos:

 

Ø Fees

v  Parents are requested to make the payment of the fee during the month of March 2011 in cash only.  Because of the financial year closing, in the month of March- 2011 payments by cheque in person or through drop box or through post shall not be accepted. All the dues pertaining to fees for the session 2010-11 should be made clear in cash latest by 11th March 2011 to avoid any inconvenience and chaos during the result.  Defaulters shall not be issued report cards / allowed to attend the higher class until their dues are cleared for the session 2010-11.

 

v  Fees for the Academic year 2011-2012 shall be payable from 6th April 2011 on Quarterly Payment basis as follows:

 

1st Quarter in April 2011

2nd Quarter in July 2011

3rd Quarter in October 2011

4th Quarter in January 2012

        

v  To avoid inconvenience due to no. of fake notes in every denomination, it is decided that the fee payments shall be accepted through crossed cheque in favour of “D.A.V. Public School, Airoli” payable at Navi Mumbai.

 

v  Please note that no outstation / post-dated cheques shall be accepted. 

 

v  It should also be noted that during first quarter separate cheques shall be accepted for Annual Activity Charges,  Bus Fees & Quarter Fee.  The details of fee shall be displayed on School Notice Board.

 

For the first quarter, the fee shall be accepted w.e.f. April 6, 2011 till April 30, 2011.

 

Ø Result:

v  Results of Classes Nursery to IV shall be declared on 25th March 2011. Timings shall be 09:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon.

 

v  Results of Classes V –VII and IX & XI shall be declared on 26th March 2011. Timings shall be 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon.

 

Ø  Transport:

v  The payments for availing Bus facility only for the month of April 2011 for new admissions (academic session 2011-12) shall be accepted on the notified date of Books and Uniform distribution. To avoid inconvenience please pay the fees on given date.  It may also be noted that the Bus fees for all the students for the next academic session 2011-12 shall be collected along with the First Quarter Fees from April 2011.

 

v  The bus fee has to be paid for the 12 months. The rates are displayed at the fee counter.

 

v  Cheque / DD payment of bus fees shall not be accepted through Drop Box, it shall be accepted at the fee counter along with the Bus Registration Form only.

 

v  After the payment of Bus fees, in case the cheque got bounce, the bus facility shall stand cancelled.  A penalty of Rs.250/- shall be levied as cheque bounce charges.

 

     No Bus Fees shall be accepted after April 2011.

 

v  In view of the circular issued by the Regional Transport Office, it is to convey to you that the private vehicles, which are registered with RTO to carry passengers, should only be engaged for transportation of your wards.  The seating capacity in case of children should not be more than the no. of seats registered at RTO.  Also ensure that the vehicles are not fitted with CNG & LPG kits from unauthorized agencies. The vehicle should be regularly serviced at authorized service stations.

 

v  It has been notified earlier also that due to space constraints all the bicycles shall be parked in front of and adjacent to Gate no. 2.  Though every care is being taken to ensure safety and security of the bicycles parked outside the school, the school shall not be responsible for any loss or damage or theft of these bicycles.  Parents are requested to guide their wards to put an additional chain lock while parking the bicycle.

 

v  Scooty & Bikes shall be confiscated if the child is not having the valid license. It has been observed that the children are doing stunts on road with their bikes / scooty endangering the life of the other people. It is therefore in the safety of your child & other people moving on the road.  .

 

Ø Books & Uniform:

 

v  The books & uniform shall be made available in the last week of March / April 2011.  Dates for distribution of books and uniform shall be notified on school website www.davairoli.org after 10th March 2011 and the same shall be displayed on Fee Notice Board for parents’ reference.

 

v  M/s. Navrang Dresses is the authorized agency to sell our school uniform from school counter only.  For any major problem related to quality of uniform the agency is liable for alteration or replacement on counter only.  The agency or the school shall not be responsible for quality of the uniform if purchased from the unauthorized shops.

 

v  Parents may please note that, Track Suits shall be introduced for Classes I to XII for the academic session 2011-12 and the same shall be available on Uniform Counter. 

 

 

Ø Mobile Phone:

v  Mobile phones shall be strictly prohibited in the school campus.  It has been observed that children are using the mobile phones in the classrooms for SMSing their friends & disciplinary action shall be initiated against the defaulter.

 

v  Under no circumstances mobile phones shall be allowed in the school premises.  In case anybody is found in possession of mobile phones /i-pod / camera , the same shall be confiscated and shall not be given to parent / child whatsoever the reasons.

 

Ø  Summer Vacation:

v  The Summer Vacations shall start from 2nd May to 10th June 2011 (both days inclusive).  However for classes VIII –X & XII the summer vacations shall be up to 1st June 2011 only. The students of these classes shall be having Subject Enrichment Programmes from 2nd June 2011 onwards.

 

v  Date & School Timing for the session 2011-12 are as follows.

Timings for the students of Nursery on 19th April to 21st April 2011 shall be 1:15 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. only & from 25th April to 29th April 2011 school timing shall be 1:15 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

The students of Nursery to Sr.K.G. shall be having holidays on Saturdays. Whereas students of Std. I - XII shall be having regular school.

Second & Fourth Saturdays of every month shall be holiday for all the students.

                                                       

Office timing for parents during summer vacation shall be from 9: 00 a.m. to 12:00 noon on all working days.
